Elango Thiyagu began his first business endeavour at the age of 12, developing software programs for corporate ​conglomerates at a time when computers were first introduced to the world. This endeavour springboarded him into ​various business experiences in the fields of safety and health training, investing in financial markets, and venture ​capitalism.

A man of exceptional talents, Elango explored and studied the dynamics of the human mind and applied it successfully in ​his personal life and his various businesses for more than 30 years. Given the amazing results he achieved, he conducted ​his own awareness and motivation training programs to teach others how to achieve the same success too. This led to the ​birth of the social business incubator platform known as “ET Ideas” where he imparted his knowledge and experiences to ​guide numerous businesses towards holistic success.

Founded in 2008, ET Ideas’ mission is to develop entrepreneurs to step out of the system and solve world problems ​collectively and selflessly at the root cause. As ET Ideas’ founder, Elango has groomed over 50+ associates with over 30+ ​companies at various stages of growth and in multiple industries (education, video production, entertainment, tourism, ​event management, accounting and financial services, IT, training and consultancy, health and fitness, and more). In ​2018, Elango retired as the frontman of ET Ideas, passing on the reigns of CEO to the younger generation to lead the ​innovative and transformative ideas of the incubator.

For more than 15 years, Elango has channelled his efforts and time to mentor and guide individuals to listen to their hearts ​and pursue their goals, many of whom now carry forward his work to impact new communities in countries around the ​world. Elango’s vision is to see the Gen Ys & Gen Zs all around the world working together to achieve their goals by ​following their hearts. One of the teams he has mentored since their formation is Ascendance, an international youth ​organization that has dedicated their resources to empowering and providing the resources to secondary school students, ​enabling students to achieve holistic success while still in school. Over the past 8 years, Ascendance has reached out to ​50,000 students in 26 countries through their conferences, outreach programs, entrepreneurship challenges, Teenage ​Entrepreneur online platform, and more.

Currently, Elango is retired and shares about the Four Stages of Life (Learning, Experiencing, Contemplation, Letting Go) ​with the international community through conferences and forums - spreading awareness about harmonious living ​between humans and the rest of the species on Earth. He often shares his wisdom and decades of experiences, ​successes, and life lessons through his published books and occasionally, at workshops or talks.
